Hi everyone,
I have ROS Kinetic installed on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in VirtualBox 5.1.18. I've been trying to run the Turtlebot simulation as per the textbook, Programming Robots with ROS, but when I do, this is the error message I receive:

I can make the simulation launch if I disable the 3D acceleration settings in VirtualBox but if I do, Ubuntu's UI lags really badly and becomes unusable for the most part. Is there any other fix to this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
