gazebo world file show nothing [tutorial]

I'm doing gazebo tutorial http://gazebosim.org/tutorials?cat=guided_i&tut=guided_i1 I copied every code in the tutorial and ran the command
gazebo velodyne.world -u
However, gazebo show me the empty world. How can I get my velodyne world?
